is it worth using?the biggist nova i have had was an sri was just wandering if a gte was any good?:thumb:

have u had one?how fast u get out of it i have had 130 out of the sri's which i had or is it about the same top end jist quicker gettin there

i dont think you'll have had 130mph out of a SRI unless it was tuned (speedo's arnt accurate.) A GTE will be faster 0-60 and have a higher top speed. i think of hand a GTE will do just short of 120mph in standard form.

Most GSIs had the exact same engine as GTEs.
Only the late GSi's had a slightly different engine.
So no difference whether you get a gte or early gsi engine.

lookin at k reg one so would b late modle whats the diffrance like??????? i thought the gte was a carb b4 but is not!

A late GSi engine will not have a dizzy, it will have a DISpak system.
Its also a lot harder to strip out of the car, due to the integrated wiring loom.
