door handels

hi im just wondering what other door handels fit the nova that wont need lots of modding 2 fit?

Prob be easier to shave them off but I'd be interested in what everyone else comes up with.
Ive seen where someone has modified the standard door handles by trimming down the handles so they are flush with the bodywork and dont stick out.

Vectra, Cavalier etc ones fit with a bit of chopping. Anything could fit with enough effort.

Personally I like the std handles... each to their own though!

Ye, cavalier are a good choice, as they are recessed into the door, instead of sitting on the door like nova ones do.

Not to sure how it was done but it was repalced with re-inforced fibreglass home made ones. I was thinking about trying it - bit of trial and effor.

A mate of mine trimmed down the origional handles on his gsi a few years ago. The bulk of the handle was plastic, so we just smashed it all off, leaving just the metal. We then had to cut and weld this until the main flat part was just about flush with the door skin, then we bonded on some carbon-look plastic sheet which had been cut to shape. Theres hardly any room to get your fingers under though, just your finger-nails.
