1.4spi onto 1.2spi

Will a 1.4spi fit onto a 1.2spi engine and will there be any power gains? also will putting the 1.4 cam onto the 1.2 be worth doing 2 and is it best to stick with the 1.2 head? thanks

Head, starter motor? Lol

The cam will fit in, but wont give much gain, a 1400Sr or GTE cam is better.
If you stay with SPI, then without modding inlet ports etc, you will need to stick with the square port 1.2 head.

you will get a tarmac destroying 15bhp if you swap the whole engines over

I assume you mean swapping the throttle body and inlet off a 1.4spi, onto a 1.2spi.
If so, theres no gain, as both are exactly the same, same inlet port size etc.
Only the injector is different.

i put a 1.4spi engine swap for my 1.2 spi, easy job, same loom etc, bit more power,seem to have more torque. But i think that the cav 1.6 spi will fit with the same loom, that should be faster again

Na its for my mates corsa and yeh i did mean the throttle body soz, cheers tho
