View Full Version : Fitting twin 40s help!!
Iv just taken the spi and manifold off and im left with 6 hoses, is this right? Does the large hose coming from the bulkead go into the inlet manifold and 2 fuel hoses 1 into each carb? And theres a hose coming from the left of the brake fluid bottle and another 2 which used to fit into the air filter i havent got a clue where they go lol please help!!

As far as i know you have one fuel line which you bridge over both carbs?

right you need one fuel line, block the return off, the one going into the air filter will be a breather you dont need to connect that back up. The one coming from the brake master cylinder bit you need to fix back into the inlet manifold your using for the carbs, as do for the water pipe underneath i think
kk cheers, but whats the little black tank thing under the inlet manifold for? the 2 hoses going to the air filter were connected to it? shall i block them off?
Its the breather container thing for the crank case.
A pipe from that should go to the airbox originally.
I dont think you can block it up, as it needs to breathe.
