no start nova

my nova wouldnt start this moring apart from the fact it was snowing n was cold as **** dnt kno y it woulnt start?i spayed all plug leads etc any thing eletrical it started after the but does note idal rite?the idealing mite be coz it was still cold and that is mabie why it was culling out when i slow down and stop at junctions?any one got any ideas?carb needin set up?

mine does this, its annoyin, its starts then stalls, then going to a junction it shivers as if it is gonna stall, i think the carb may need adusting, or timing

think the engine just needs upgrading to suming faster with injection?ha ha

Give the plugs a good clean or replace and give the carb a service/clean the injectors.
The little things can make a difference, I did have some problems with my coil on my 1.2 on some days.

probably just the cold at fault for the crappy start,i'd have the same problem with my sr but was fine on a hot day so wasn't sumut to worry about. just gotta put up with it and be quick at dabing ya accelorator while braking to keep ya revs up.
. puttin origional filter on might help but summers near so not worth the hassle really.

it is standard filter!think it was moisture in the plug leads or some where along the lines anfter spraying all eletrics with wd40 it has been running good since

pierburg carbs thats all mate...they aint worth a w**k.best way around it twin 40's :thumb:

put up with it till i get sumin else only a 1,2 so not worth tuning it

ive got an sr aswell. if u dont have enough antifreeze in it. it will stall and **** its just the water dosent heat up as quik as on a hot day.

Alright mate? Im from Wareham not far from Bournemouth - In Plymouth for another few months finishing my final uni year, car-less unfortunatly. Shes tucked up in dry storage at home.
