now then people can any 1 help,me like a feckin idiot has spilt super glue on me car does any1 no how to get it off without damage in me paint work cheers for that..jid:mad:

acetone is a mild solvent (nail polish removier is almost entirely acetone), for some reason, it eats through superglue much better than stronger solvents do, and it shouldnt damage your paint. Just be careful not to rub too hard, and test the acetone on somewhere inconspicuous first.

As Xeno said you can use nail polish remover - there are some products out there dedicated to super glue removal, I think B&Q had some a while back.

They're all based on acetone. The summer before last I did some strain-gauging (ffs i cant spell it "gay-jing") work, using all sorts of glues and solvents and stuff. The acetone was about the only solvent that didnt sting your fingers, but was better than anything else for getting superglue off.
