Nova Running Problems! PLEASE HELP

Hey guys, im a Nova Virgin! :p

I have just got a 1.2 nova, with a 1.4 head and block fitted...

When im driving along and change up gear it revs like hell between gears!

As if the throttle is sticking etc

Any ideas??

Also splutters a bit and hesitates top end!

I might just throw a GTE engine in!!!! :confused:

But baring in mind the shell has one owner from new, Not a bit of welding on it

for the record there are replies that we deleted .

check the throttle cable for sticking etc

Maybe id be best changing the engine and box to a GTE setup as i know of one forsale..

But will it be hard to go from Carbs > Injection?

Been looking for past topics but cant find one!

Its probably just the cable sticking slightly, or the carb throttle plate sticking.
Not worth changing an engine over imo.
