Ummm if i just put 60mm springs on my corsa and it goes for a MOT will it fail due to it just having springs and scuffing the back arch?

If the wheel rubs the arch then it will most likely fail.

it will only fail if either:

the tyre is constantly touching the arch,

or the sidewalls of the tyre are scored badly.

best guide is, if you cant run yor hand over the top of the tyre due to the gap bieng to small then just stick standard steelies on the back.

as long as you have the same size tyres on the same axle itl pass:thumb:

I had the same a slight scuffage problem with one of my Astras so for the MoT I jus stuck some steelies on the rear, looked crazy but it passed.
MoT tester said I would only had gone home and change the wheels if I hadnt put the steelies on. So I was saving us both time - he saw the funny side of it.

make sure the springs dont fall out when the cars jacked up! sounds daft but most mot stations jack cars up so that the suspension is free to move,(as they should so that they can check the bushes properly) if you dont have shortened dampers the beam drops drown and the springs can just fall to the floor
