Dizzy Problems

hi, after my post "None Starter" i have replaced the dizzy as the lug had snaped off the back of it that conected to the cam. the dizzy was brand new, so in very good nick, 4 days later (today) it happened again to the new dizzy, so off i went to scrappers and pick 1 up for free. whats causeing this to happen?
i fort that it could be the rotor getting stuck or catching on something in the dizzy cap cause it to snap, or the cam breaking the lug off.

does any 1 have any ideas?

this happened on my old nova. i went through 5 dizzys before it run properly. it may be because your timing is way out now.

did urs jst sort its self out then? the timing is fine as far as u no.

eventually yeh, the last one i fitted i made sure all the springs etc inside the dizzy were okay and fitted it on, got the timing re-set and never had trouble with it again

ill go get my timing checked out asap. and see if that sorts it out.
