I have a 89 nova gte, i'm not sure which it is but some times the engine ticks over spot on, other times the rev counter is showing 2000 rpm, it's like either the automatic choke is staying on or the idle control valve is it's way out, it doesn't do it all the time, it's the same if you drive it for long periods and then pull up at a junction the rev's won't drop, and you look like and old women that cant drive sat at the lights.
Is there a quick fix for either of these two problems?
