my engine code starts with nv ...anyone shed somelighton what that means> ie valve size? whats the best mods to do!

It ends with nv.

The V-Files in Total Vauxhall mag tell ya everything ya need to know about Vauxhall engine codes mate, if i remember right the starting letter is which Euro emissions law the engine was made in, the numbers are engine cc size and the final letters are compression ratio and the type of fueling system eg.

C20XE is Euro Reg 1, 2.0L, 10 to 11.5:1, and Multi point Injection

mine starts with nv... and its a 1.4 ..thats all i know about it other than its carb! i'll look in total vauxhall ...cheers

it does not start NV. it is a 14NV in that case...
