infact, most companies are doing it now if you think about it.

i guess there meant to in a way but look at the mk2 astra and mk3 cavvy, not exactly identical......

there is a reason why most manufacturers make their cars "the same" if you like the look of one car it means your very likely to like the look of the rest of the range. So when you upgrade your car you remain with them but with the next model up etc. Unfortunately it does mean if you dislike one car in the range your likely to dislike the rest so they lose you totally as a customer.

All the cars at the moment look like plastic boxes, horrible, they are all lookin the same so they can all be branded as euroboxes.:)

It better be RWD or its just gonna be the 'new' calibra, and probably based on the veccy chassis! Pah!

The old manta is essentially a cavailier coupe... and the "manta" shown above looks very much like a vectra coupe.

Evolution, nothing more, nothing less.

The 9 year olds of today will grow up wanting Citroen c2's and will scoff at all the cars that are around when they're 20+ just like we do.

i dont think it looks to bad to be honest. better than the new astra twin top

but as said lets hope its RWD, maybe monaro running gear and engine perhaps...

Exactly that, its also a brand image. Novas looking similar to same age cavs, calibras, Astras and all that.... you find it on a lot of products, not just cars.

Can't beat proper mantas

Those that are grouped fall into 9-11 range, and the turbo is 14

Mantas are usually around the 300-700 mark but usually require extensive restoration.

Good condition cars usually fetch between 1-2k but can still require work

Mine cost a fortune, but its been garaged all its life and has literally no rust. Its arches are smoother than the Novas were when they were new! LOL!

If your serious about buying one then be prepared to crawl right under the car to check for corrosion - 99.9% of Mantas sadly need work...

Who's car is it!?!? YOURS! So YOU decide!

Buy it, they're miles more fun than a Calibra
