View Full Version : got my cav GSi wheels on (pics)
well got them on now, what you all think?
just need to get new front tyres (195/45) so nice and low like the back ones.
they look better in the flesh i think. and it'll look better when i lower the back about 100mm:)
im going to spray them soon but im still unsure what colour to do them.
they look good in silver, but they might look better in antracite, but i'll worry bout that when the time comes.

Looks good, grille could do with painting body color though. How about repainting the lower lips of both bumpers, the sideskirts, spoiler, mirrors and the rims in hurricane grey?
Looks cool.
I'd agree with mikey, would look better with the bumpers anthracite color, and the wheels done the same.
With a body coloured grill.

sr lew is that 195/50/15 tyres on the front?
there actually 205/50/15 on the front, there the ones that came with them, getting new ones next week, they'v got slow punctures, so when they go down abit the grip is just unbelievable!! pretty much no wheel spin, but when i had my 195/45/15 on the front they would just spin up.
feels like a rocket from 0-60 with big flat front tyres on!
going to put it up against my brothers xr2 before i change the tyres, cause even he said it feels quicker than it should! (it used to be his)
looks like the back 2 are coming off already, cause i think the insides are corroded and got a real slow puncture. so going to paint them.
got a red mk1 with black gsi rims on it, fink they suit it really well, jst gota spary bumpers gun metal and get gsi skirts and rear spoiler on mine.
hey matt g that sounds pretty good mate.
