my mate has messed up her 1.6 GTE gearbox, i have a 1.4 gearbox and i know it wont fit straight on, but was wondering if i could swap the internals, as in change all the cogs around so its 1.4 internals in a GTE box?

the internals will fit into the other box but you might aswell just use the 1400 'box

i cant because the GTE flywheel is too big for the bellhousing

pull the cluster out and put the 1.4 one in, and swap the diffs over.
