hi peeps are cav v6 brakes a four stud and will they fit straight on my nova and what size disc do they run is it a 288mm

The discs are 288mm, they are 5stud.
So you will need the discs re-drilling to 4stud(an engineering place should be able do this)
Or IIRC you can get discs to i think its a fiat coupe(cant remember the model) as these are already 4 stud and fit a nova.
You will also need a set of spigot rings to centre the discs on the hub properly.

And you will need at least 15" wheels, maybe 16" depending on the wheel design.

You might also need to upgrade your brake servo to a larger 200mm one off a GTE/GSI.

are the calipers on the v6 cav a direct replacment fit for my astra gte ones on my nova:thumb:

thanks for the info what about calibra turbo calipers are they a direct replacement for my astra gte ones to and which are best v6 or turbo calipers

yes use the alfa/fiat ones, the part number is dsk 651, if i remember right. I the holes will need to be drilled out slightly as the stud spacing is slightly different. Also ive glued my discs on the corsa lol

Cav/Cally turbo & Cav V6 are 284mm disc, 5 stud with there own caliper.

288mm discs are from Vectra V6, 5 stud & have a different caliper again. Both need fitting with spigot rings.
