hi, im new here!

i jus installed a new head unit, amp and sub in my beasty 1.2. but im havin a few probs, the amp n sub work fine when listening to the radio but as soon as i switch to CD the amp turns itself off and i get no sub!!!1

any suggestions?

it would indicate that the amp is wired correctly as your getting it to run. try having the HU playing a cd and get a multimeter to test that your getting a 12v feed through the remote at the amp. if your not then i would suggest that the HU is shot.

Does the amp actually turn off? Or does the RCA output from the HU just drop right down?

Just out of interest can a low rca output from a HU be solved? i've never encountered it.

hey thanks for ur help guys, turns out it was jus a setting on the head unit!!! im such a dumbass!! now iv got a dodgy connection somewhere from when i put the head unit back in and now the head unit wont turn on!!!

Don't think that i've ever had a setting for the rca output on any of my HU's. I'll remember that for the future
