injection tank

is there any visual difference between a MPi tank and a Spi tank. does it have anythink stamped on them?
im after a tank for xe conversion and just wandered

MPI tank wont have a pump mounted inside the tank, SPI does.

so i need to look for a tank with an externally mounted pump

a nova gte/gsi tank and a nova gte/gsi injection pump will do the job as they run at 3 bar which is what the xe lump needs with injection hope this helps

or use an SPI tank, with mpi pump from astra etc etc

I'd go for that option/\

In-tank pump, less likely to get covered in crud and start to rust etc.

ok so what tank have i got on my 1.4sr carbed car?

A carb tank.
No good for injection engines as the engine will keep cutting out when you corner hard.
