i have a white h-reg 1.4sr (facelift model) and i would like to get blue rear clusters, front indicators and headlights(if legal/possible). ive seen them on a nova about a year back, but i cant find them anywhere! i really dont want to spray them as i think it looks taky, bad spelling i know, (sorry if i offend people) its just i would like to do it properly.

can anyone tell me where i can get them? as i want them to match the blue side repeaters im about to fit.

are you meaning headlights or bulbs? headlights will be illegal.
as for blue side repeatears, they aint legal but they aint illegal.
the rear lights is a tricky one ud get away with them if correct light came out, but police would appear to take a liken to your car.

thats my piece

Need to speak to a sorayer.I think u can use thinned down body paint or mix it wit somethin?? to work as a paint to cover lights.Thats how u can make the lights look like the body work(Fastcar Fiesta this month) as for headlights I know u can buy blue corsa headlights that look ok and are legal.( sure it was pax mower lst month i saw them bein fitted to a staffer car(?) so maybe u can get them for the nova.I'll try to find the mag.
Blue side repeaters are legal if u have an orange bulb and u cna see it flash orange i think

Blue side repeaters are legal, they have to emit orange light. Blue headlight bulbs are a dodgy area, I have rainbow ones in mine and I haven't had any hastle with them yet. In max or FC there was an article about a new blue headlamp bulb which is 100% leagal, so you can buy them. Rear light clusters, you can buy blue ones because I have seen them, I can't think for the life of me where though. Like someone else said, you can mix a bit of blue paint with clear lacquer and paint them, test it on some clear plastic and see what it looks like.

Did anyone see the astra in the max power July i think. He covered his clusters in tights!!! :>.

I tried it. It looks alrights and still gives lights and looks ok unless u look really close.

Tip though, use the leg. The more you stretch the lighter the tint. Make sure the missis dont find out!! (or anyone else)

Its cheap though

i had had sprayed on blue tinted laquer on my clusters and side reps but it only realy made them darker. you could always get the stop light spray and laquer over the top of that so its shinney not dull. or iv'e herd blue tights work, ask you missus for a pair. hope it helps.

paul jacksons car in the feature cars was done by mixing laquer with the blue body colour... that looked mint.

if i had a missus, she would have a blue pair of tights! lol
i know ive seen some tinting spray in max power. you can definately get a black one, and im pretty sure you can get a blue one.
i would really prefere actual blue plastic, as i would be less hassle, and know i would probably fcuk it up trying to spray it.
i may just have to get clear ones for now :(
cheers for the info, much appreachiated
