Head Skimming on xe

hi all,

just a quick 1 , a mate of mine works at a machining factory and has mentioned that he could get the head skimmed on my xe for the price of a beer.;)

Hows much is it advisable to have done?, and, what sort of performance increases could i expect ???

wouldnt bother mate unless youve done everything else mod wise, xe heads are week anyway unless its coscast and its then dear to replace, uv got more chance of fecking summet instead of doin it any good, waste of time.
