Help - 1995 corsa LS 1.2 8v

The engine is leaking oil from the head, it runs quite sluggish, i have no service history of the car when i bought it, im going to change spark plugs, air filter, oil, oil filter, ignition leads at work on sataurday.

Is there anything else i should change while im working on it?

Are there common problems that go wrong with this engine?

Leaking oil from the head? between the head and bottom end? or the head and camhousing?

I use 10/40 in my nova, its more fluid like lol

you might be able to get that gasket paste stuff and bodge it without taking the head off, or not saying it is this but when mine started leaking from the camhousing/cylinder head it was the valve stem seals that had gone, the vacuum from the pistons was sucking oil up the oil galleries into the top of the cylinder head, let the car warm up, and rev it to about 5000 ishRPM and see what comes out of the exhaust and when ;)
