Hi there i ahave a mk1 1.3sr and wanted to fit a mk2 gsi dash, is this a problem at all or not fitting wise?
Pm me, thanks, Luke
Well, it can be done.
Follow Haynes manual for removing the dash, and then refit the mk2 one.
I cant remember if you need any of the mk2 dash plugs tho, they might be different to Mk1 plugs. I think there the same tho.
Plugs are all the same, the central rotary blower/heated RW is different - the plug is the same but the wires move round slightly.
You'll also need the Mk2 behind-dash air ducts. Mk1 dial set will also have to be wedged in as it doesn't have the top screw that the Mk2 dial set does.

Thanks guys, so aslong as i get the air ducts behind dash i shud be alright, wat about when i come to putting my digi dash in, wats that like to fit?

Just cut the lugs off the sides, and it should go in.
Then just colour to color match the wires from astra loom to nova.
