MK2 dash into mk1?

Hi ther, i have a mk1 1.3sr, and am wanting to fit a mk2 gsi dash, is this a problem at all?

it shouldnt be a problem ive known people to convert mark 2 dashboards in mark 1,s id check ya measurements first tho just to make sure!!!

they defo go into a mk1 but as far as i can remember the switch gear is differant.

:) yep its just a case of redoing the connection plugs behind the switches if the mark 1 connections are different shouldnt think so tho its a nova all nova loops are the same i would of thought...:roll:

i put a mk2 in my mk1 its not that hard, make sure you get all the heater ducts and get as much cable on the mk2 switches as pos, and you have to rewire the rear wiper for the mk1 switch to the mk2 wiper stork, any problems let me know i will try help .

Yeah, swap the plugs over...one wire at a time. And take your time!
