I have a full set of GM mudflaps, the ones with the Vauxhall badge.
I mainly just have them fitted to stop bricks etc flying up off the wheels and chipping the edges of the front wings and doors.

They just fit straight on, two bolts clamp them.
Fronts are a bit tricky to get straight, as the lip of the wing is only small, so its a bit harder to bolt them up straight.
Mine have been on for a few month tho, and they are still fitted solid.

Planning on taking them off for summer tho.

I have the Dealersport ones, with Vauxhall griffin, GM and Opel badge, they are the original one's aswell, not the cheap ebay copies, lol

I hated my GM ones, their now sat on a garage shelf. I prefer no mud flaps at all, it gives a cleaner look IMO.

Cheers

iv got some proper rally flaps on as i like doin fast road events and track days as it saves wrecking the side of my car and rear wheels, only front flaps though,

personally on a standard car id have the standard astra ones with the griffin in the corner as they look very smart, j
