engineers report for a to 20ltr16v nova

hi peeps do you need a engineers report when you have a 2.0ltr 16v conversion in a nova why is this:eek: is it for insurance purposes

Some insurers make ask for one.
Its to make sure the engine has been fitted/wired correctly etc.

Most insurers dont require one tho.

There is a way around it by telling the insurance company that the conversion was done by the previous owner, but i would only reccommend this if you are 100% confident youve done it properly. its never a bad thing to get a second opinion that what youve done wont catch fire lol
