changed head, running rough

My mate has got a 1400 sri and hes put a ported, polished, kent cammed really mint mint head on it.

the head was origionaly for his GTE engine.

we put the new head on his sri because his gasket went so we did it for a test really, but its running abit baggy.

seems like there isnt enought compression, is this the problem do you think?

Is it not running right all through the rev range or just at idle?

I think this could be to do with the timing, proabably needs to be set up properly:thumb:

Well isnt the compression on a 1600 head way too different for a 1400? That's what i was told
