Wiring Loom?? 1.4 - 1.6

Does anyone know if the 1.4SR wiring loom would need to be replaced in order to fit the either a GSI/GTE engine??

if it has to be replaced can it be moddified to work?? :confused:

yes it needs to be replaced but only the engine loom but if you can wait a week or so i mite have a full gsi loom to sell

you need the gte/gsi engine loom mate

its only a case of joining 5 wires up to your old car loom - very easy really

but dont forget if it a 1,4sr you will need to fit the injection tank and pump :thumb:

where does the loom join the new Gsi/Gte loom and what are these wires? colours and uses - if anyone know's

And what do you mean by injection tank and pump?? is this the fuel tank and if so whats so special about it that the conversion needs it?

You need an injection fuel tank instead of you carb one.
So it has a swirl pot.

You need the injection fuel lines too, and fuel pump.
