hi im just wondering if 195/50/15 will fit my cav gsi wheels without them rubbing as my mates offered my a set of 4 c.g.c secondhand tyres for ?50 fitted
cheers
195/50/15 are alright on my Astra LS alloys. Lowered 40mm with standard arches.

i just took some 195 50 15's from a nova which was lowered, mine are catching the arches really nastily i think, but i been told i need new shocks which im getting done tues, as soon as i hit bumps even on a normal road doing 30 sounds really bad, hopefully new shocks will sort it otherwise im gonna be **** OFF

what offset are your alloys??
The depth profile on ur tyres make a difference on whether it scrubs or not, i had both 195/45/15 and 195/50/15 on the same car lowered 60mm and made no difference whatsoever.
Also because you are using Cav wheels the offset will be correct so no they wont scrub

I have 195/45/15 tyres on my cav gsi alloys they are fine. Anything bigger would rub i think.

Check Tire size calculator (http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html), coming from 145/80/13 then 195/50/15 would be best ;)
