Evening all! Ive just converted my luxe plus clocks to mk2 sri clocks but the fuel guage needle goes right off the maximum fuel marker on the dial, has anyone has this problem before? is the sri fuel tank sender different to a 1.2 luxe plus one?? any help much appreciated!

There is a work round for this.

you need to take the resistance bar of your old fuel gauge and bolt it to the back of your new gauge. it's just a little white plastic looking thing.
be careful of the orientation of it and just match it up on the new ones.

it'll work about as well as any vaux gauge then.

cheers

i waited until the fuel tank was very nearly empty, took the needle off the fuel gauge and put it where it should be (in the red area)

see if that works first, might be the easy way out ;)
