Did any of you Novaloaders buy a brand new Nova??

(C'mon - don't be embarressed about showing your age ;) )

How much were each of the models - SR, TD, GTE, GSi, Sport, etc.?

I was about 14 when my K reg Nova was born, but i'm sure there must be a few people on here that remember the good old days when they were still made and sold.

I was 6 when my nova was made lol
I was speaking to this old guy tho, he was telling me what good little runners they were when they were first brought out.
With luxury extras such as a locking fuel cap,lol.

I bought my 1.2 sxi 1992 j plate in Jan 1993........ 6 months old ex demo car!

The previous owner of my car, my uncle, bought it from new in 1991. I bought it off him in 1999.

My brother hired a brand new un , whilst we both were on holiday in 89 in Gran Canaria. He,d been driving less than a year and decided to take us up in the mountains for a spin. Shat meself at the sheer drops with no barrier.

Good little driver - my brother - thank god !!

I never had a brand new Nova, but I remember 3 brand new Novas at our house!
1984 1.2 3 door (don't remember so much of the start, but remember it going!)
1987 1.3 SR
1991 1.4 SR

I reshelled my nova in 1989 and bought a brand new bodyshell from GM for ?1250 if this counts as a new car. Needed the shell because the nova I bought with 1300 miles on the clock looked like this :-

Err, yes I have! Will be reshelling the Sport with it.
Found it stored in a guys garage, had been there for 12 years
And just to really p!ss you off I only paid ?500 for it:D
