If yours is 1.4SR, make sure the cam has the lobe for the fuel pump.
With it being to a 1.6 engine, it may not have it.

But it should do.

isnt the AST11 a solid profile cam?

look on www.needforspeed.co.uk for cam specs on the nova....

Nar its quite a mild cam iirc.
Using hydraulic lifters.

JamieP-It should work fine in a 1.4.
But i would get something a bit more wild, especially for a Twin 40 engine.

iirc all kent and maybe piper cams have the lobe for fuel pump aswell as both slots for the dizzy drives.

dont no waht the spec is but if yoyr gonna be running 40s then you obviously want max power rather than economical/drivability so get a wild cam like ast 2 or wilder
