dash problem mk1 to mk2

ive got a mk 1 nova and want to fit a mk 2 dash will it fit and what problems will i get with wirring .Has anyone done it and is it easy:confused:

the dash should go in easy, just need 2 change the switches etc to mk2 dash switches. should take a day at the most (including a dinner and 2 brews)

Its pretty easy. The Mk1 wiring will plug right into the Mk2 dash, except for the rotary blower/RW heater control - although the plug fits, some of the wires need moving round in it. Behind the dash, the air ducts to the side vents are different from the Mk1 items, and I think the heater and air direction rotary control rods might need adjustment, can't remember which ones you use (Mk1 or Mk2) though.

use the mk2 heater cables , and also the mk2 heater matrix bottom cover
