if its juicey check for leaks. tank and engine area, black smoke out the exhaust when you rev it means it's running rich.

Check for air starvation (clogged filter), coolant temp sensor could be faulty, im not too au fais with spi's and how it guages how much air is coming in, but rich running is usually acountable to a sensor fault on an injection engine.

CTS and lambda are the most likely culprits on a SPI engine.
Theres no AFM like on other injection engines.

Get the spark plugs out, and see what they look like.

How bad is it on fuel? You might think its bad but it could be quite normal, especially as you tend to rag a SPI engine,Lol.
