Nah .When u roll the arches,if it ain't done great the paint will crac at the bending point.Perfectionists amongst u will respray a quarter panel or if it ain't visible(ie underneath the edge of the bend) then cover it in rust sealant stuff to stop it rusting.
Fraz (BTW what car dd ya get??)

Nica.My mates about to get one of those but it still won't touch my sri.I've decided to get further head work and strengthen the whole chasis up abit for a poss later conversion. At this exact moment it's at the welders gettin the whole chasis checked(Theres fcuk all 2 new sills not cause they needed cheanged but for the future and a tiny plate in the boot) when it comes back I'm gettin it stripped half way(leave sound deadening and fittin harnesses and buckets)
Should be nice.Gettin me arches rolled soon.Another wya of gettin them to fit is grind the lip down abit and cover in rust stuff. My mate did it for his 60 mm drop and it passed a n mot before any1 asks!!

I'll tell you what the people at Xtreme said when I wanted the archs done on my car:
"Because of the design of the nova rear arch our machine can't roll the archs so we reccomend that people take them to a decent bodyshop and get the archs cut out, and repair panels welded on, not only does this guarantee there is no rust it also means that the panels can be welded to make the archs slightly wider for more clearance, and they can also be rolled before the car is sprayed. I had this done on my car and it cost be about ?300"
All I could say to that was :O
So I just pulled out the angle grinder and cleared them myself.

My 15" alloys with 195-45-15s fit with only a couple of mm's ground off the arch, and the only reason I needed that was 'cos My new arch panel had a larger lip than a standard one.

Grind back as far as you can, but make sure you don't go through the spot welds.
