If you want to stick with the same sized brakes, then get the calipers and pads off a late nova, 1.2i. They are ATE and work a lot better than the early brakes.

Not worth bothering with the early Delco brakes, as it will only seize on again in a few weeks/months.

could i use my sri calipers on the 1400SR discs?? i do have a k reg 1.2i sat in the garage which i could rape for bits i suppose! Im guessing all Mk1's apart from GSi and 1ltr had the same calipers and that mk2 calipers will fit :tard: using different pads
i cant put 2ltrs brakes on becase of the wheels

Hmm, i think SRi's had vented discs, so you would need SRi discs too.
All nova calipers will fit all novas with the correct discs/pads etc.

You could fit the SRi calipers with new discs and pads, shouldn't cost too much.

Or put the 1.2i calipers onto the 1.4SR, using 1.2i pads.

I've got a set of Late GSI calipers (ATE Style), disks and pads you can have for ?10 + P&P
