its on avo coilovrs, it still has about another 2-3 inch to go down on the back.

bloody hell i might get coil overs then. but do you have to mod any thing to fit them?

i want it nice and low when i get these wheels

ive just brought a set of gsi rims will be soon lowering the car the problem is where i live the speed bumps are 2 heigh so will only beable 2 lower about 40 mm

Marsden

no dont worry about that mine is lowered 60mm and if i go really slow over speed bumbs the centre box just scrapes (2 people). 40mm to me is just doesnt look like they have been lowered. But thats just my opinion;)

lol coilovers are cool - you need to buy them

but i found that when i had mine quite low down ny exhaust was trapped on the rear beam pmsl

hey riggy do you need to mod anything to fit coilovers?

yer marsden, my sr is lowered 40 and the back looks only a little bit lower, but the front looks is pretty low and at the min it looks like a track car, just the way it sits on the road.

now thats nice! im leaning towards anthracite or dimond cut now, and im gunna do my tsw alloys that are on the car now black and use them for winter or when i do a track day one day.

any one found that pick of them dimond cut on a white mk2 i think it had a chrome bits in the engine bay aswell ,was/is mint.

cheers, lew

40mm to me is just doesnt look like they have been lowered
I did some sums when I was putting my -40mm suspension on and no it's not really lower. With 15" alloys & 50 profile tyres -40mm springs lower the car by about 7mm (compared to ride height with std springs and 13" steels).

try it with 45 tyres and see if thats better, iv got 45's on my 15's and think its pretty low.

you need to host it on say, photobucket.com or .co.uk, upload on that site, then copy the img link, its like the middle one. then paste it into your post.

hope that helps.

There not bad wheels really, there cheap and they don't look that bad, i'm actually after some aswell now:D

SRlew

i know there only half an inch narrower but will they handle aswell as me 6.5 x 15's?

and will tyres off them fit on to the GSi wheels.

i like the idea of having two sets of wheel, one set for looking good and at shows (GSi ones), and one set for winter and if i do some track days etc (my tsw's)
