Most people seem to know about the unfortunate incident I had with my previous bonnet vent, so this time I am going to do it right(when I eventually find a new vent that is different!!!)
What I need to know is do I need to use a special kind of fibreglass when I smooth it in? the reason I ask is that I heard that it can be difficult to paint fibreglass and get a decent finish on it, is this true??????
Mmmmm forbidden donut. :)

Don't paint directly on to the fibre glass.....smooth it over with some other filler first. You get a smother finish that can easily be painted with great results.
