View Full Version : are 1.3 an 1.3sr engines the same
are these both the same or is there a difference in head or cam?

yes it was on twin webers, the only difference between the 1.3 and 1.3sr is the gear ratio

So a 1.3 saloon has a SR engine...
It has a Pierburg carb tho - that wasn't fitted to the SR was it?

Ye it was.
As Riggy said, pre 1985 1.3Sr's had a single choke carb, same as the 1.2 carb.
After 1985 they had the pierburg 2e3.
what was the difference between the carbs?
the crap one is a single choke pierburg 1b1
and the better one is a dual choke 2E3 or something

only difference is the main and idle jets being slightly bigger on the 1.4.
