HI GUYS, NEWISH TO THE SITE, JUST FINISHING MY GSi NOVA FROM LAST YEAR, JUST ON BUILD UP MODE. IT HAS A TURBO CONVERSION ON THE ORIGINAL DONKEY, AND A FEW OTHER SUTTLE MODS. WONDERING WHAT BRAKE SET UP TO GO FOR. IF ANYBODY HAS SOMRE IDEAS TO SHARE.... WOULD BE GREATFUL CHEERS.. LATER.:);):thumb:
256mm 16v would probably be ok, but i would go with the turbo sized discs.
288s.

288's using 16v ATE calipers imo, the V6/turbo calipers are good but because of their size they tend to be a bit 'spongy' imo.
My post was meant to say
"256 would be probably be ok, but i would go with turbo sized brakes, 288 discs and calipers."
lol
288 calipers might be ok on a 1.2 sized servo, on a GSi servo they should be fine. I know that Aragorn has them on his mk3 astra with standard servo, and the pedal is fine, and they have the same size servos as a nova.
Is there much work to convert the 256mm calipers to run with 284/288mm discs?
