can anyone help me, my 1.6 engine has been taken out for new belts and gaskets! has anyone got any ideas on some power boostin **** i can do, it already has kent kams!

PLEASE HELP!!!

400-500 just afta a load of simple ideas so i can pick an mix, my heads gone blank on stuff 2 do, an i only got a few days before it has 2 go back in da car

Twin 40s, GTE inlet
Kent/piper cam

Thats the ?400-?500 gone if buying the cam kit new.

Probably be around 120-130bhp.

i alredy got kent kams, bigger inlet, full stainless, lightened flywheel, 4-1 manifold, its at 126bhp, i jus want more tho, im greedy, duno wot 2 get in such little time

Ok,you have a Kent CAM, not cams ;)
Could just fit a set of T40s then. :)

126bhp sounds gd for those mods.

i only just bought it, an dats all i no its got, i av got a dyno 4 it showing 126bhp at 6150rpm, da whole engine is chrome, id show a pic but dis sites crap at da mo, wont i loose da injection if i go t40s tho

Ye, you would loose the injection as the Twin40 carbs replace the injection system.

There's nothing wrong with the site, just the people using it. Images can be posted. There is an 'insert image button' = http://www.novaload.net/forum/images/editor/insertimage.gif.

You could get a big valve head fitted to it, if any are around on the second hand market, to get one from blydenstein and the likes would probably take longer than you have by the sound of it. Another viable option would be to have a mapped ignition to get the most from what you have if you wish to retain the injection, which can be done at anytime when the engine is back in
