f13 on a 2.0?

i was under the impression the f13 box was for small block engines, were as the 2.0 is a large block?

if your going for a large block, the f18 box all the way!

although, didnt vauxhall release an f40 box a few years back? or was that for the v6?

The answer is yes it works and I also know people that have done it without any problems

I've not driven one but I can only imagine that wheelspin in the lower gears is worse than normal though so cant really see a point for it but it can be doen very cheaply so makes for a even cheaper, slightly faster xe nova or corsa

would also mean you could use normal nova drive shafts then...

huummm.. got me thinking now :D

the only reason i can see why people do it is because they cant be ****d to sort the shafts out.

it will work, however you'll need a custom clutch plate to match the input shaft on the F13

then the box will probably spread itself all over the place after about a day

LOL, ive got to ask why, I cant see any real advantage, an XE nova on an F16CR spins like a ******* so why youd want even closer gearing is beyond me, and like just mentioned, it will probably detonate spectacularly
