inner wings

Are the inner wing replacement panels the same on all nova or did they change on the face lift? I need to order a pair and the bloke at the panel shop said that the book listed to 1989 and he didn't know whether they change after then?

Can anyone please help? I can't see why vauxhalll would have changed them for the face lift. But I need to know because all my nova's have been face lift one's.

i think the Mark2 novas had slightly wider arches

if they had slightly wider wings wouldn't the inner wing have to be wider to compensate?

I'm sure they're all the same at the front, i remember someone posting pics of the process, think it was whoever cut up the hollyoaks nova?

no difference at the frront like i said, otherwise it would be a pain to go from a mk1 for a mk2 front or visa-versa

Thanks for the replys, I didn't think there would be any difference. The only problem now is getting a pair, each panel shop I have spoke to only do a wing mounting panel and not a full inner wing. Any ideas where I might get them from?:confused:

I got them about 3 months ago but may have been discontinued now as outer wings have as have many other parts recently :(

there is 5mm differnce between the mk2 an the mk1 wings

the inner wing repair pannels are about ?85 + vat from vaux i could still get them about a month ago.

but i thought the mk2 front was slightly different as it had a piece of metal that ran under the lights, from the wing to the grille?

that bit of metal that is under the lights is part of the front pannel iirc.

thats part of the outer wing, the bit under the indicator, something pattern wing makers just cant get right as they're allways the wrong shape there.
