Is there anyone aged about 17 who could suggest a good insurance company to insure my 1200cc nova with? Most quotes are above ?1200 and im sure i could get a slightly cheaper quote. Any ideas?

Even just post the company name.

I'm 17 with a 1.3SR with my Weber Carb declared and some other little mods I said the car is probably valued at ?1300 and I pay ?1013 TPFT and that's with CIS insurance. Good Luck.

yea gto the AAinsurance web site www.aainsurance.co.uk, im insured for 960 third party on my 1.2, and it waqs like that when i was 17, so good luck mate. also be the second driver so your dad as the main, also have your mam on the more oldies you get on, the cheaper it becomes, having my mam on the insurance got it down by another ?100

Yep CIS seems good, me be 19, 1st car shall be nova SR valued @ about 1 grand, TPFT = 693 quid, live in stoke-on-trent which is relatively high risk too.

btw my SR will be a 1.3 as a 1.4SR would cost about 850 to insure with CIS.

I've been quoted ?1409 Fully Comp for a 93 1.4 sri with 16" wheels loads of body mods, lowered by 35mm, ?700 ice, cat1 alarm, total value ?4500. I'm 21 years Old. Only just passed my test.
I thought that was expensive but compared with these one's. Sh*t, get on the phone to Adrian Flux quick.
BTW i don't own this car yet, still got to pass that stupid test thingy.

Don`t go with cis, I changed form them to Adrian Flux to save money, also AA quoted me ?1500 for TPFT the bastards, its only a GTE!
