Will filler primer take out the bobbles on std mk2 bumpers?
I want to spray both mine in metallic anthracite but want them to look smooth and not bobbly.

Don't use heavy coats of the high build primer (at least not the first couple of coats anyhow,) it has a nasty habit of sinking when this happens, and after that it then starts to tear away from the plastic. Takes a while to master and get used to it, the first few times i use it this always happened. I presume you are using a gun? cause i don't know if the same happens with an areosol.

I will be using aerosol cans when i get round to it, but if i spray the bumpers matt grey then im not planning on using filler primer as i wont need it for a matt finish colour.
