Took off my aerial

I have cut off the aerial wires and taken it off my wing to be filled later on.

With my wing off and the wires not connected i can still get radio1, which is all im after but is there a way i could wire up another aerial and sit it inside the wing or something because the signal isnt the best.

I have a beesting inside my rear quarter, and it works fine.

I tried a ?5 aerial from Maplin inside the car and it was crap. I think it looks alright with the aerial mounted on the roof (like most modern cars, Corsas etc)

The radio reception is no where near as good as when you have an external mounted ariel.
I had a roof mounted beesting on my old car, and that looked cool, and worked cool too.

what if i put an aerial underneath my car or inside the back bumber would that work?

That's where I tried. The reception was rubbish.

mines just in behind the wing, i get a fairly good reception, wasnt realy botherd bout the radio but as it gets a reception i thought id leave it in there.

Could maybe get a slimline ariel in the roof lining?
