Sorry about the down time, we are all mega busy people and it took longer than expected...
We decided to go live tonight and then I was forced to get drunk coz all our mates were round but we managed to do it (coz I gave Ian my login details lol)

Hmmm, the new site does load a lot quicker and the style etc is cool.
But its a lot different to use than the old site,spose i will get used to it tho as its same board as Mig etc.

probably will get used to it, but liked the old, so easy to navigate, nice and simple...
this one's uumm.. bit plain with the colours... will get used to it though

All of the stuff like feature cars etc are totally integrated into the way theloginsystem worked on teh previous forum system, it's gonna take kev a while to adjust his code on it... should't take him too much work but he's a busy man ... so he'd have you believe.
Looks 100% better than the old site. This one looks a bit more grown up.

did hate it at first, just due to how easy the old one was.. basically the same reason i never use mig, dont like the board style...
still not over keen on it now, but been using novaload on and off for years.. so not going to leave
and i am sort of getting used to using it now, just not a big fan of this type of board, seem's a bit too much
to be fair.. unless your an uber nerd there is feck all difference lol... there is a post topic button, a reply button etc... fail to see how from a user point of view its different to gaybacer/figweb etcl... meh

Definately a change for the better. We had the same sort of thing, people saying they prefered YABB 1 FFS!!

think its just im lazy, and like having the link to the forum at the bottom of the page, eg just being able to click a link to go back to the section, instead of the forum jump thingy...

needs sum colour tho - feels like im working on my old amiga 1200!
the colour scheme is great, it blends into the unix console windows i use at work ;) lol

you always used to be able to reply on the forsale/wanted posts, then when we put phpbb in place it was stopped.
The reason you couldnt reply was because originally Novatrader was a seperate site run jointly by 3 nova sites, it was always set for no replies, the original host withdrew hosting so NL offered hosting and kept it in the same format. As this was years ago we thought it was time for a change.
Lol, i have 216 Pm's.
Sorted now, i've jsut kept the ones i wanted and deleted the rest.

if your PM inbox exceeds your quota you will not be able to send or recieve any further messages until you delete the excess and make room.
So anyone who thinks its cool to have hundreds of old pm's in their sent items / inbox. Its not lol
