1400 nova sr

i was wondering if anyone here can help me? i have a 1400 nova sr 1991, i am going to drop it into a 1993 cors b. i was planning on a tune and rebuild when i thought of turbo charging, i was thinking of using a 1.5 turbo diesel mainifolds but am unsure of fitment before i start splashing cash! can anyone help? any info at all would be much appreiciated!

the TD manifolds are totally different as they are from an isuzu....

you would have to get a 1.6 8v turbo manifold from the various companies that make them.

Id also suggest a 1.68V head and inlet so that you can run it on injection and use an aftermarket ecu such as dta/mbe/kms etc

yeah i know the 1.7 TD s are izuzu but was haoping the 1.5 wernt? also hoping to stick with carbs as i can do all the work myself and really need to keep the cost down, unfortunately that means ruling out mapped injection and ECUs

erm well imho id not bother considering turbocharging the engine if you want to do it on the cheap as its going to cost double doing it that way...
