exhaust manifold

i am looking to buy a manifold its a 1.4 sr with an sri head. is there any difference between the exhaust ports. i thought that i should get an sr manifold because i would of thought the sri one is to go with a cat, but just wanted to be sure

Sr one that way it will line up with your system (hopefully)

All OHC 8v heads have the same exhaust port shapes, so all manifolds will fit the head.
But as Stu said you need a 1.4Sr manifold so that it joins the system.
A Gte/GSi/SRI manifold wont fit to your system.
