inlet manifold - worth?

Hey all. Bought a 1.4 spi inlet manifold on ebay for a pound to mutilate and add some bike carbs to my 1.3L.

In the meantime is it worth fitting it at all for a small gain?

Does anyone know if there will be?

It has completely the wrong shape ports for a 1.3 engine.

1.4 ports are square, 1.3 are cathedral.

You need a inlet with the same ports are yours, and mod that to fit the bike carbs.

If I do a bit of DIY head porting and polishing to a spare 1.3 head I have, would it be worth matching it to the 1.4 manifold?

or will the fact that the rest of the tube is a different shape still cock things up?

just get a 1.3 manifold. saves a lot of unnessecary fcuking about
