Handbrake sticking on

Lol.
If i put my handbrake on, it works fine, but when i take it off it sticks on.
I have to get out of the car and pull the handbrake cable towards the drums to take the handbrake off. :lol:

How should i go about fixing this, is it just a case of clean the drums out?
Or will i need to spend money and replace some bits,lol.

open the drums up, clean them out. replace shoes if needed. run some 80grit paper round the drum inside.

maybe renew the cables. but deffo lube up the corners where the cable runs

Last time i had a look the shoes looked brand new, so hopefully just a clean out will sort it.

might find the quadrants are worn on the axle where the h/brake cable pivots round before going into the drums the cable sticks on them there only cheepo plastic and arnt expensive from vaux
