Hi Peeps
Im about to unbolt my rocker cover, and spray it in RED, *High Temp Spray Paint*, whats the best way to prepare the surface on the rocker cover?

Use degeaser on it. It does what it says on the tin.

And use wet n dry to smooth the surface.

normal paint is fine mine has exactly same on engine as rest of car.

ive done mine yellow,.. use gunk and a fine wire brush. then use a grey primer. then put your paint on.

When you remove the rocker cover do you need to get a new gasket and new bolts for it? or can you just put the old ones back if they look OK?

get a new gasket
bolts are ok to reuse
but y not get coloured ones??
